Lockport's annual downtown Easter celebration will be held on April 19 — the day before Easter.

The fun begins at 10 a.m. at the Palace Theatre where the movie "Hop" will be shown for just $1 admission. After the movie, the Easter Bunny will be by to visit. The first 300 children will receive a free goodie bag.

Then from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m., kids can hop between stores for the "Downtown Bunny Hop." Participating businesses will be handing out Easter treats to kids. Make sure to bring a basket or bag to collect it all.
