The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory through 5 p.m.

The weather service projects southwest winds of 25 to 35 mph with gusts of up to 50 mph, resulting in some downed tree limbs and isolated power outages. Travel in high-profile vehicles may also be somewhat difficult.

The high today is expected to be 64. Coupled with the wind, it should help to dry out the wet lawns around East Niagara. But then rain and a low of 35 will dampen them back up again.

Friday projects a high of 57 with sun and a low of 37 overnight. Saturday should be mostly sunny with a high of 58 and a low of 43. Sunday there's a chance of showers with a high of 66 and a low of 50.

Monday offers a high of 62 with rain likely and a low of 32. Tuesday will be damp with a high of 43 and a low of 28. Wednesday's high will be around 44.
