A Harvest Ridge Way woman told Niagara County Sheriff's deputies Thursday night that a vehicle had driven through her front yard damaging the listed property.
The woman told patrol that she heard a loud noise and then shortly after was contacted by her neighbor who had located the damages after hearing the same noise. She said that neither she nor her neighbor saw the vehicle that did the damage.
The vehicle drove off of the roadway onto the Harvest Ridge Way lawn, striking a small garden fence and a mailbox. The fence was scattered throughout the front yard and the mailbox was approximately three houses east of the property where it belonged. The yard had tire marks in the lawn left by the vehicle.
There was no physical evidence on scene to obtain a description of the vehicle, according to the report, but the vehicle should have front end damage. Patrol canvassed the area and was unable to locate any vehicle with damage.
Cost of property damage estimated at $100.
