An 18-year-old Newfane man was charged Sunday with marijuana possession by New York State Police after a traffic stop on Ewings Road.
According to the report filed by police, Chandler Knight, 18, was exceeding the 35 mph speed limit. Upon interviewing Knight, the Trooper noticed evidence of marijuana within the vehicle.
Further investigation found Knight to be in possession of marijuana. He was given a speeding ticket and an appearance ticket for the marijuana and will appear in the Town of Newfane Court on a later date.
