A 20-year-old Lincoln Place man was arrested Sunday morning and charged with DWI by the Niagara County Sheriff's Office.

According to the Sheriff's Office report, Diantre Cullens, 6553 Lincoln Ave., Apt. E, was found off the south side of Rochester Road in Gasport. Patrol observed tire tracks which led from the roadway through the ditch on the south side of the road to the front lawn of 7642 Rochester Road.

Patrol said Cullens appeared to be intoxicated and observed an open container of Patron liquor in the back seat of the vehicle. Cullens failed field sobriety tests and tested positive on a breath screening test. He was placed into custody and charged with driving while intoxicated.

Adams Towing took the vehicle and was advised that there would be a 12-hour hold placed on the vehicle. Cullens was transported to Niagara County Jail where he was held in lieu of $250 bail. He is is set to appear in the Town of Royalton Court on March 18.
