The Lockport Business Association will honor Lake Effect Ice Cream with its Business of the Year award on Thursday at its annual dinner.

The awards dinner will be held at 6 p.m. at the Lockport Town & Country Club on East Avenue.

Common Council President Joe Kibler will receive the association's Lifetime Achievement award. Brian Costello, owner of Diversified Manufacturing will be named Business Person of the Year. The Local Service Club award will be presented to the Lockport Exchange Club, while the Community Service Award will go to Tim Arlington of Apex Consulting.

John Percy, president and CEO of the Niagara Tourism and Convention Corp. will serve as guest speaker for the event.
