An Appleton man was charged Tuesday with DWI, having more than twice the legal limit for blood alcohol content according to the Niagara County Sheriff's Office.
Jeffrey M. Huntsman, 33, 7861 Townline Road, was pulled over by patrol at approximately 9:30 Tuesday night after crossing the double yellow fog line. After failing field sobriety tests and being tested positive for alcohol, Huntsman was transported to the Sheriff's department for a chemical breath test, which had a reading of .18 percent blood alcohol content.
He was charged with DWI, aggravated DWI, failure to keep right and driving on the shoulder. He was remanded to Niagara County Jail on $250 bail and scheduled to appear in Town of Newfane Court on Feb. 18.
