A Whispering Pines Drive man reported Monday that sometime overnight an unknown person stole his GPS, cell phone charger and two boxes of shotgun ammunition from his vehicle while it was parked in his driveway.
The man told NCSO that the vehicle was left unlocked overnight and his passenger door was opened, as was his trunk at 6 a.m. Monday.
He told police that the last time he had been in his vehicle was at approximately 6 p.m. Sunday. Patrol seized an empty box of shotgun ammunition that the complainant stated had been emptied and moved. The box was submitted the box to the lab for a fingerprint examination.
