A Barker man was arrested Monday and charged with petit larceny by Niagara County Sheriff's deputies for allegedly trying to steal $47.10 from Dollar General in Newfane.
Jason T. Hanahan, 32, of Quaker Road, put 10 items inside his coat without paying for them, according to the police report.
He was arraigned at Newfane Town Court and remanded to Niagara County Jail pending a Feb. 25 court appearance.
