East Niagara municipal/school meetings for the week of Feb. 24

Monday
  • The County Refuse Disposal District Board will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday in the Niagara County Courthouse on Park Avenue. A meeting of the Legislature's Public Works Committee will follow.
  • The Royalton Zoning Board will meet at 7:30 p.m. in Town Hall, 5316 Royalton Center Road, Middleport.
Tuesday
  • The town of Lockport Zoning Board of Appeals will meet at 7 p.m. in Town Hall, 6560 Dysinger Road.
  • The Niagara County Legislature Administration Committee will meet at 6 p.m. in the County Courthouse.
Wednesday
  • The Lockport Common Council will meet for a work session at 5 p.m.  in City Hall, 1 Locks Plaza.
  • The Lockport Town Board will hold a work session at 1 p.m. in Town Hall.
  • The Newfane Town Board will hold a public hearing at 6:45 p.m. in Town Hall, 2737 Main St., on the purchase of recycling carts. A regular board meeting at 7 p.m. 
  • The Royalton Planning Board will meet at 7:30 p.m. in Town Hall.
Thursday
  • The county Board of Health will meet at 4:30 p.m. in the Warren J. Rathke Public Safety Training Facility, 5574 Niagara St. Extension, Lockport.
  • The Greater Lockport Development Corp. will meet at 7:45 a.m. at City Hall.
