A Lewiston woman was arrested by Niagara County Sheriff's deputies this morning and charged with DWI and several other charges after leaving the scene of an accident.

According to the Sheriff's Office report, at approximately 7:45 a.m., NCSO received multiple 911 calls of an injury accident at the intersection of Hamm Road and Locust Street Extension. Upon deputies arrival, it was learned that the driver from one of the vehicles had fled the scene. After searching the surrounding area, the driver, Jasmine A Rickard, 18, of Lewiston, was located at a Kenyon's on Robinson Road, in the Town of Lockport.

According to NCSO, Rickard and her passengers, Justin Phillips, 20, of Lewiston and Dylan Phillips, 18, of Lewiston, were all transported to Eastern Niagara Hospital-Lockport for minor injuries. Allan David, 64, of Royalton, was the second driver, and was also transported to ENH-Lockport with minor injuries.

Rickard was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while ability impaired by the combination of alcohol and drugs, leaving the scene of an injury accident, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and passing a stop sign. She was arraigned in Town of Lockport Court and remanded to the Niagara County Jail on $5000 bail. She also had an outstanding bench warrant from Town of Lewiston Court for a sentence violation. She had additional bail set at $25,000 for the warrant. Rickard is due back in Town of Lockport Court on Thursday, and Town of Lewiston Court on Wednesday.
