The National Weather Service says temperatures will get up to almost 40 degrees today. That, coupled with rain, will knock down some of the snow piles scattered around East Niagara.
After midnight, temperatures will fall again, dropping back to single digits Monday afternoon - and all the way down to -6 overnight Monday. The weather service has a wind chill warning in effect for Monday and Tuesday with Tuesday's high projected at a mere 5 degrees. Show is forecast for both Monday and Tuesday.
Temperatures will return to the teens on Wednesday and the 20s on Thursday with more snow projected.
