A Lockport teenager was arrested for shoplifting at Walmart on Saturday.
According to the Niagara County Sheriff's Office report, 18-year-old Rose Destanie Brown of Allen Street was seen stuffing a shirt down the front of her pants on the security monitors while in the men's clothing department at about 8:15 p.m. Saturday. She was also seen putting several articles of clothing in her handbag. She was stopped when she went to exit via the west doors without paying. In all, she tried to leave with three shirts, a pair of pants and two pairs of earrings, totaling $62.34.
Patrol issued Brown an appearance ticket number for petit larceny and ordered her to appear in Town of Lockport Court on Thursday.
