The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory through early this afternoon.

The advisory warn of light snow and freezing drizzle. "The combination of snow and freezing drizzle will result in slick roads and hazardous driving conditions," the service says.

Today's high will be around 27 and the overnight low will be around 2 a.m. Some snow accumulation will occur today - likely an inch or less.

Tuesday's high is projected at only 7 degrees with a low of -1. Wind chill values could be as low as -10 meaning the potential for school closings in East Niagara.

Wednesday offers a high of 10 and a low of 5. Lighter winds mean closings are less likely. Thursday remains cold with a high of 12 and a low of 3.

There is a 30 to 50 percent chance of snow Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
