COURTESY OF NIAGARA COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE - Two men
robbed the 7-Eleven in Middleport on Christmas Eve. Police are asking
for the public's help in catching the duo.
After the armed robbery of Frank's Deli in Lockport on Thursday, the Niagara County Sheriff's Office is renewing their public plea for help on a recent rash of robberies.

Frank's Deli was reportedly robbed by a male around 8 p.m. Thursday. He walked into the store, displayed a handgun, demanded cash from the register and left.

It was the latest in a string of robberies throughout Niagara County which started on Christmas Eve when the 7-Eleven in Middleport was held up.

Since then, there have been robberies at the Kwik Fill station on Niagara Falls Boulevard in Wheatfield, the 7-Eleven on Plaza Drive in Wheatfield, the Comfort Inn on Transit Road in Lockport, the NOCO station on Williams Road in Wheatfield, and most recently, Frank's Deli, which is on West Avenue in the city of Lockport.

The subjects involved are believed to be white males, approximately 5-foot-6-inchs to 6-feet tall, of medium build. They have displayed a small semi-automatic hand gun.

The public is being asked to remain observant in and around local businesses.  The public is also encouraged to forward any tips or information regarding the robberies to the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office  438-3393 or during business hours to Investigator Brian Schell at 438-3328 or Investigator William Evans at 438-3335.
