A 39-year-old Corwin Station man told Niagara County Sheriff's deputies this morning that during the last four years, and unknown person opened a business and credit card in his name.
The complainant stated that the unknown person made purchases from a Lockport tattoo parlor in the amount of $115. He also said that a business was opened up originating from his old address on Lake Road in Barker.
The complainant told NCSO that he received a collections notice from Global Payments Department regarding this business. He believed that some of his mail may still have been sent to his old address.
The complainant was advised that a report would be filed and forwarded to the Criminal Investigation Bureau for possible further investigation.
