Niagara County Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to Krull Park in Olcott to investigate vandalism at a restroom in the park Friday night.

According to the NCSO report, sometime between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m., an unknown person entered the public restroom building, located to the east side of the Krull Park ice rinks. The suspect appeared to have used a hockey stick to strike the ceiling panels and bathroom partition. The hockey stick was found broken in half and in the toilet. Total damage to public property was estimated at $450.

Also damaged inside of the building is a large vending machine belonging to a private company. NCSO believes the vandal kicked the sides of the machine and caused damage to the front of the unit. The total amount of damage is estimated at approximately $1,000.00.

Patrol will follow up when new suspect information becomes available.
