Fourty-four National Grid customers in Newfane are without power.
The outage, which began at about 12:45 a.m. was originally slated to be restored by 2:45 a.m., but had not assigned to be fixed as of 2 a.m.
Sometime prior to 3 a.m, National Grid changed the status of the outage to "assessing condition" with no estimated return time.
