It sure is nice outside.

Temperatures in East Niagara will hover around 50 degrees through tomorrow and may even get up into the 60-degree range, according to Jim Mitchell of the National Weather Service.

"To sum it up there's a very strong low pressure system that's moving off to the west," Mitchell said. "Those areas are really getting slammed by now."

That low pressure system means the Buffalo area is being delivered winds from the south. "... deep in the south so it's really bringing up some warm air," Mitchell said.

But don't get used to it. The cold front will be coming through here in a couple days.

Today offer mostly sunny skies with highs in the lower- to mid-50s and light winds followed by temps in the mid-40s overnight. Thursday will bring a 50/50 chance of showers with temperatures similar to today. Temps will dip into the 30s with a chance of snow or rain Thursday night. Friday will be in the 30s with possible snow and Saturday is expected to be clear but cooler, in the 20s.
