Niagara County Sheriff's deputies arrested 45-year-old Timothy Brien of Green Valley Lane in the Town of Lockport Monday evening following a one-car crash in Royalton at the intersection of Bunker Hill and Akron roads.
The Sheriff's Office report says that Brien was northbound on Akron Road and failed to stop at the stop sign, striking the guard rail at Bunker Hill.
Brien showed signs of intoxication and had a blood-alcohol content of .16 percent, according to the report.
He was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and failure to stop at a stop sign in addition to the DWI charges.
