The National Weather Service says it will be cloudy today with a high near 72. Overnight will be mostly cloudy with a low around 61.
Tuesday will be mostly sunny with a high near 82. Overnight, there's a high probability of rain with a low around 66. Wednesday calls for rain and possibly a thunderstorm with a high near 72 and a low around 54.
Thursday, there's a chance of showers with a high near 66 and a low around 52.
Friday, there's a chance of showers with a high near 62 and a low around 49. Saturday, more showers are possible with a high near 59 and a low around 42. Sunday will be partly sunny with a high near 54.

APPLETON — Hess Road will be closed at West Somerset Road starting Monday for railroad crossing replacement, according to the Niagara County Sheriff's Office.
The work is scheduled to take a week, with the road reopening on Oct. 20.
Officials advise choosing an alternate route.

The Lockport Public Library Children's Department will host a Kaleidoscope making program with Explore & More Museum from 2 - 3 p.m. Monday in the Community Meeting Room.
Children ages 7-12 are invited to uncover the science, history and artwork or Kaleidoscopes. Participants will learn about the history of the Kaleidoscopes while exploring light refraction and reflection. Various types of Kaleidoscopes will be displayed for children to explore. Every participant will leave with a Kaleidoscope that that they have built.
To register for this program or for more information about upcoming events at the library, call 433-5935 ext. 4, stop in the Children’s Department or visit www.lockportlibrary.org.
