An exhibition of Joseph Whalens works from the private collection of his close friend Paul Hunt -- including many works seen publicly for decades -- will be on display at ART247 beginning April 30 and running through May 22.
An opening reception will be held from 1 - 4 p.m. April 30 at ART247's Joseph Whalen Family Gallery. The event is free and open to the public, however donations are encouraged with proceeds to benefit the Joseph Whalen Foundation, founded by Joseph's wife Kathleen Whalen to support local art scholarships -- and the Joseph A. and Kathleen M. Whalen Gallery at ART247.
Artisan Coffee tasting will be provided by Rebecca Grela, and hors d'oeuvre and refreshments will also be offered.
