The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for Niagara and Orleans counties through 2 p.m. Monday.
The weather service says heavy snow is expected with accumulation of four to seven inches overnight and an additional one to two inches on Monday.
Along with the snow, northeast winds of 20 to 30 mph are expected, leading to visibilities as low as a quarter mile and hazardous travel conditions.
A winter storm warning is issued when severe winter weather is expected, including heavy snow, ice and wind. Extreme caution is advised when traveling.
