The Lockport Express clinched a playoff berth with a 4-1 victory over the visiting Syracuse Stampede.
Syracuse jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the first period. Lockport responded 6 minutes into the second period with a goal by Brendan McFall. Lockport took the lead 4 minutes later with a tally by Justin Andriaccio. Lockport netted 2 more in the third period, a slapper by Dylan Jenkins and an empty netter by Christopher Gasiewicz. Gibson Stuart finished the night with 3 assists.
The same 2 teams face off Sunday afternoon at 1 pm at Cornerstone Arena, the last game of the regular season.
