BUFFALO -- The Buffalo Sabres announced this morning that the team has assigned forward Daniel Catenacci back to the Rochester Americans (AHL).
Catenacci, who was called up Saturday by the Sabres had 8:56 of ice time in Saturday night's game vs. the Toronto Maple Leafs, recording one hit.
Catenacci who was in his third recall of the season, has now appeared in 11 games for the Sabres in the 2015-2016 season. He has totaled 72 points (35+37) and 127 penalty minutes in 188 career AHL games, including 20 points (9+11) in 42 games with Rochester this season.
