Lockport's Code Blue is in effect again tonight meaning the homeless or those without heat or electricity will be allowed shelter at from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. due to expected cold temperatures overnight.
Those in need of shelter can enter the Salvation Amy, 50 Cottage St. until midnight. Light snacks will be provided.
According to the National Weather Service, the low temperature in Lockport tonight is expected to be approximately 9 degrees -- before taking the wind chill into account. Code Blue is called for whenever the temperature dips below 15 -- including the wind chill factor.
