TOWN OF LOCKPORT -- Lockport's first brewery in over 100 years now has locally brewed beer flowing through its taps.
New York Beer Project, 6933 South Transit Road, had a late opening today, preparing for the switch from "guest taps" to NYBP Taps.
Following a 4 p.m. NYBP Mug Club Members reception, the brewery and restaurant opened its doors at 5 p.m. to the Craft Beer Lovers of America (and everyone else) with brewmasters Jared Lewinski and Jason Crossett introducing the brewery's lineup.
The beers introduced today include:
The brewery will also feature live music at 7 p.m., followed by "a night of festivities and wonderful beer."
In preparation for the grand opening and tap switch-over, the brewery offered $3 tap beers all day Tuesday to deplete the "guest tap" stock.
New York Beer Project is open at 11 a.m. - 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to midnight Fridays and Saturdays.

- Destination India Pale Ale
- Train of Thought Amber
- Chocolate Milk Stout
- Huckleberry Wheat
