HARTLAND -- A 26-year-old Middleport woman was charged with driving while intoxicated following an early-morning incident on Hartland Road on Saturday.
According to the Niagara County Sheriff's Office, Kristine Leann Healy, 9195 Ridge Road, was found by patrol around 2:52 a.m. standing outside her car, which was in the front lawn of a Hartland Road home.
Healy told patrol that she was waiting for someone to come pick her up. While interviewing her, patrol determined her to be intoxicated, but she refused to submit to a chemical test to determine her blood-alcohol content.
She was transported by Tri-Town Ambulance to Medina Hospital for evaluation of any injuries and ordered to appear in Town of Hartland Court on Tuesday. Her vehicle was towed with a mandatory 12-hour hold.
