Due to expected extreme cold temperatures for this evening, the Code Blue warming shelter will be open again from 8 p.m. - 8 a.m. at the Salvation Army, 50 Cottage St.
Any homeless person or individual without heat may spend the evening at the Salvation Army where light refreshments and cots/blankets are available to ensure that all are comfortable and safe.
Entry will will be permitted until midnight.
The National Weather Service forecasts an overnight low of 16 degrees -- before accounting for the windchill.
Tonight will be the third straight "Code Blue."
