ENP STAFF REPORTS
news@eastniagarapost.com
A lake effect snow advisory has been issued throughout Niagara and Orleans counties through 7 p.m. Tuesday.
The National Weather Service says that 1 to 3 inches of snow is expected this afternoon with 2 to 4 inches more falling overnight and another 3 inches possible tomorrow.
Westerly winds at 15 to 25 mph -- with up to 40 mph gusts -- will produce a significant amount of blowing and drifting snow, especially in wide-open areas. This will mean for visibilities as low as a quarter mile at times.
