ENP STAFF REPORTS
news@eastniagarapost.com
TOWN OF LOCKPORT -- A Woodhaven Drive man told Niagara County Sheriff's deputies that someone withdrew $5,000 from his bank account earlier this month.
The man said he noticed 11 fraudulent withdrawals made from his Ameritrade bank account since Nov. 13. Some of the withdrawals were debit transactions, while others were written checks -- all made in the Brooklyn area.
The man reported this incident to Ameritrade, who subsequently placed a hold on his account.
The NCSO investigation continues.
