New York State Police charged three people with DWI and other charges over the Christmas weekend as part of an increased traffic patrol.
Dennis R. Liddell 46, of Newfane, was charged Friday with driving while intoxicated, a felony Leandra's Law violation, failure to keep right and moving from the lane unsafely. He is scheduled to appear in Newfane Court on Jan. 19.
Tamika R. Coplin, 36, of Lockport, was charged Saturday with numerous infractions including aggravated driving while intoxicated, unlawful possession of marijuana and drinking alcohol in a motor vehicle on the highway. Coplin reportedly registered a blood alcohol content of .18 percent, more than twice the legal limit. She is due in the Town of Lockport Court on Jan. 14.
Bruce S. Gordon, 55, of Lewiston, was charged Sunday with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, DWI, speeding, failure to keep right, and moving from the lane unsafely. He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Lockport Court on Jan. 14.
