BUFFALO -- Sabres goaltender Chad Johnson stopped 44 shots on his way to shut out the Anaheim Ducks Thursday night at First Niagara Center.

Nine different Buffalo players added points for the season as three different players contributed to each of the Sabres three goals.

Evander Kane netted the first goal at 2:36 of the second period. Jack Eichel and Sam Reinhart assisted on the goal, Kane's seventh. Jake McCabe scored at 13:35 of the second to give Buffalo a 2-0 lead. Cal O'Reilly and Nicolas Deslauriers assisted.

In the third period, Jamie McGinn put the Sabres up 3-0 at 13:50. Rasmus Ristolainen and Josh Gorges assisted.
