MIDDLEPORT -- Royalton Hartland Community Library will hold a pair of holiday events over the next week.

A holiday concert and nearly-new book sale will be held from 1-3 p.m. Saturday to kick off the Christmas season, and Santa Claus will visit the library from 7-8 p.m. Dec. 10, when a second book sale will be held.

During both book sales, the library will offer new and gently-used items perfect for gift giving. Members from The Friends of the Library, who are sponsoring the sale, will be there to gift wrap your book purchases so that they are ready to be placed under the tree. All proceeds from the sale benefit the library.

While Santa is at the library Dec. 10, he will read a story at a special “Fireside Storytime” for the little ones. There will also be tables of crafts for the children and the finished handmade items will be perfect for gift giving!

For more information on both these events, call 735-3281, or ask at the Royalton Hartland Community Library at 9 Vernon St.
