ENP STAFF REPORTS
news@eastniagarapost.com
The Chicago Authority, a nine-piece powerhouse tribute to the music of one of the most prolific and popular bands of all time -- Chicago -- will play a fundraiser concert to benefit the Historic Palace Theatre and the Hickory Club of Lockport at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Palace.
During the nearly three-hour show the band will perform plenty of Chicago's hit songs including Hard Habit to Break, Make Me Smile, Saturday in the Park, If You Leave Me Now, and Colour My World, plus selected album cuts such as Introduction and Brand New Love Affair. In keeping with the season, the band will also perform selections from Chicago 25: The Christmas Album.
The Lockport Police Hickory Club donates to many organizations in the community such as Lockport CARES, Lockport Little League Baseball, Lockport Little Loop Football, Lockport Youth Wrestling, Niagara County Mental Health, The Salvation Army, and the YWCA. The Palace Theater is a non-profit entity that provides a local home for live theatrical productions.
Tickets for the event are $10, available from the Lockport Police Department, Mills Jewelers, and the Historic Palace Theater Box Office: 438-1130.
