PORTER -- A standoff involving an armed man in a Lockport-Youngstown Road home has been resolved, according to the Niagara County Sheriff's Office.
Initial reports said the suspect was armed with a high-powered rifle and another person was trapped in the home.
Lockport-Youngstown Road residents between Lutts and Balmer roads were asked to shelter in place, but that request has been rescinded and the all-clear was given.
NOTE: Story was updated with additional details as they were made available. An earlier version of the story mis-stated the municipality of the incident. We apologize for the error.
