ENP STAFF REPORTS
news@eastniagarapost.com
The long awaited follow-up to the 2010 Visions of Lockport book is upon us.
Visions of Lockport: Volume II is the latest compilation by Niagara County Deputy Historian -- and ENP columnist -- Craig Bacon, including 150 photos from Lockport’s past and present. The number of photos is no accident with this being the City of Lockport’s Sesquicentennial, the book is part of the celebration of those 150 years.
The book will be released during the Niagara Art Trail Weekend at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Ticklebridge Market, located in the historic Bewley Building, 14 Market St.
Bacon will be on hand to discuss his compilation and sign copies for those who wish. Volume I, which was published in 2010, will also be available for purchase. The latest volume will sell for $16.95 and will be available at Ticklebridge as well as on-line at NiagaraArtTrail.com.
East Niagara Post is the official media sponsor of Hockey Day in Lockport.
