TOWN OF LOCKPORT -- A 45-year-old Lockport man was charged Thursday with petit larceny, accused of stealing items from Tops on South Transit Road.
According to the Niagara County Sheriff's Office, Jerry Lee Dudley, 6315 Robinson Road, was seen by a Tops employee concealing a dozen items in his backpack before passing all points of purchase without paying for the items.
Dudley was taken to Niagara County Jail and held on $500 bail. He is to appear in Town of Lockport Court on Dec. 1.
