TOWN OF LOCKPORT -- A 40-year-old Lockport man stopped this morning for speeding on South Transit Road found himself with a ticket for unlawful possession of marijuana.
According to New York State Police, Troopers charged Jason M. Richardson after detecting the odor of marijuana coming from inside his vehicle during the traffic stop. Located were approximately three grams of marihuana in a small clear plastic bag.
Richardson was issued an appearance ticket and uniform traffic tickets for speeding and for a child not properly restrained in back seat. He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Lockport Court on Nov. 24.
