Light Up Lockport will return to the city Saturday with events all day long.
Starting with the second-annual Lockport Tacky Sweater Run, billed as "the ugliest 5K of you life," the annual event will also feature familiar events including the Historic Homes Holiday Tours, a pair of movies at the Historic Palace Theatre, the Parade of Lights, a coloring contest, Christmas crafts, a pet parade, a wreath sale, a scavenger hunt, food vendors, free pizza, hot chocolate, a "Cutest Little Elf" contest, tea and stories with Mrs. Claus, cookie decorating and more -- all culminating with the lighting of the Christmas tree on the Palace Theatre marquee. - 8 a.m. - noon: Hungry Hockey Players Breakfast at Cornerstone CFCU Arena
- 9 a.m. : Tacky Sweater Run beginning at the Palace Theatre with award ceremony at Lock 34
- 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.: Holiday Wreath Sale at the Old Post Office
- 10 a.m: "Elf" movie at the Palace Theatre
- 11:45 a.m.: Coloring contest winners announced at the Palace Theatre
- Noon - 1 p.m.: Free pizza at Papa Leos
- Noon - 2 p.m.: Santa and gifts at the Palace Theatre
- Noon - 2 p.m.: Lions Club eye screening at Cornerstone CFCU Arena
- Noon - 3 p.m.: Horse and carriage rides on Main Street
- Noon - 3 p.m.: Nativity display and crafts at Emmanuel Methodist Church
- Noon - 3 p.m.: Open house at downtown businesses
- Noon - 3 p.m.: Tours at the Lockport Fire Department
- Noon - 3 p.m.: Crafts and movies at the Lockport Public Library
- Noon - 3 p.m.: Swim and Reindeer Games at the YMCA
- Noon - 3 p.m.: Cookie decorating and tea with Mrs. Claus at Barker Chocolate Box
- Noon - 3 p.m.: Candle making at Candle Nook Cafe
- Noon - 3 p.m.: Holiday and hockey caricatures at Cornerstone CFCU Arena
- Noon - 3 p.m.: Balloon artist at the Palace Theatre
- Noon - 3 p.m.: Sean Conlin Photography photo booth at the Palace Theatre
- Noon - 6 p.m.: Scripts Cafe food tent
