St. John's Outreach has started an online fundraiser in hopes of raising $15,491 over the next month and a half.
Outreach Ministry Director Michael Boron said, “The challenges of combating the effects of poverty on families have never been greater.” Boron starting the fundraising off with a $50 donation of his own.
The ministry, which assists those in need through the Sister Helen's Food Pantry, a clothing ministry and furniture ministry, works closely with other human service agencies in the county to improve the quality of people's lives and fight poverty.
