East Niagara Post contributing photographer Stephen M. Wallace captured the creation of Lockport's Mural on Main painting from the first stroke to the final spray. And he's making the entire project available to the public with a limited-edition photo CD.
Each of the 150 CDs will be unique with at least one exclusive photo. They will also contain interesting Lockport tidbits, good for those who call Lockport home -- or used to. For example: "Did you know that the St. Mary's steeple originally had a different cross?"
Wallace says the project would "be awesome loaded in a virtual frame for home or office where you can watch the progression of the mural as it happened."
The disc costs $24.75, including shipping and handling with a portion of the sales being donated to the Historic Palace Theatre and the two muralists.
Orders should include the purchasers name and address, a phone number and $24.75 per disc, payable to Specialized Services with "Lockport Mural" in the subject line. They should be mailed to "Specialized Services/Lockport Mural Photo Disc," PO Box 716, Lockport, NY, 14095-0761.
