ENP STAFF REPORTS
news@eastniagarapost.com
It's Homecoming week at Lockport High School, meaning an abundance of activities for students and families. The week so far has included hall decorating, a canned food drive and daily spirit days.
This evening will be the first ever Lockport Faculty Football Game at 5 p.m. at the LHS fields. It will feature Lockport High School faculty against a team of teachers from other district schools and buildings. Food trucks will be on the grounds and the community is invited to cheer on the teams and enjoy dinner from one of four food vendors. Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair.
Following the game, the annual Pep Assembly will be held in the high school gymnasium. There will be a procession of teams as well as spirit games and performances by the Lockport Lions cheerleaders.
Saturday will begin with the parade, which departs from the LHS parking lot at noon. The football game will be held at Max D Lederer Field at Emmet Belknap and kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. when tLions will take on Riverside.
The week concludes with the 2015 Homecoming Dance at 7 p.m. Saturday in the LHS gym.
