Lockport Express forward Dylan Jenkins was honored as the runner up for the NA3EHL offensive player of the month, while defenseman Gibson Stuart and goaltender Sal Stalteri each received honorable mentions in their respective categories by the league.
In the eight games played in September, Jenkins scored six goals and four assists for the Express. The 19 year old hails from Bayville, NJ. He had a +/- or +6 for the month.
Stalteri, of Woodbridge, Ont., Canada looked impressive in his first four starts, but had a rough go of it in a 9-2 loss to Jersey Shore on Sept. 27. The 20 year old has a 3.90 GAA.
Stuart, also 19, of Jamestown, had a +/- of +3 for the month despite the team as a whole being outscored 14-6 during the pair of games he played. Stuart had two goals and seven assists for the Express in the 2014-2015 season. Stuart twice received honorable mentions from the league as its defensive player of the week.
The 5-4-1 Express take on the Maine Wild at 4 p.m.
