BUFFALO — The Buffalo Sabres today announced the team has assigned forward Cal O’Reilly to the Rochester Americans (AHL) pending waivers.
The Sabres now have 28 players (14 forwards, 11 defensemen and three goaltenders) on their training camp roster.
The Sabres open the regular season Thursday against the Ottawa Senators.
