TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A 19-year-old Walmart employee was charged Thursday with petit larceny, accused of stealing $675 from the store.
According to the Niagara County Sheriff's Office, Shelby Ann Oliver of Lincoln Avenue, took the money from the retail store between Aug. 13 and Sept. 1.
When patrol arrived at the store on Thursday, Oliver had already provided a statement to Walmart in regards to the incident, which the store provided to patrol, along with video surveillance.
Oliver was charged and remanded to Niagara County Jail on $500 bail. She is set to appear in Town of Lockport Court on Thursday.
