The Kenan Center is taking registrations for the fall session of “Children and Music Together” with Mary Dunn.
Designed for children ages three months to three years, “Children and Music Together” uses music to encourage early learning and creativity in young children. Each class includes American Sign Language and easy yoga poses are included in the 18-month to three-year-old class.
Two classes are being offered: “Wonderfully New” for ages three to 17 months. The program is offered from 10:30-11:15 a.m. Mondays and 9:30-10:15 a.m. Tuesdays. “The Worlds Around Me,” for ages 18 months to three years will be offered from 9:30-10:15 a.m. and 10:30-11:15 a.m. Mondays, as well as 9:30-10:15 a.m. and 10:30-11:15 a.m. Tuesdays.
Classes begin the week of Sept. 28 and run for 10 weeks. Fee for both classes is $95 for Kenan members and $105 for non-members. Deadline to register is Thursday. Instructor Mary Dunn has been teaching at the Kenan Center for more than 19 years.
Class times may change depending on enrollment. For more information, call Heather Bowen at the Kenan Center Business Office, 433-2617, or register in person at the Business Office, Monday-Friday.
