HARTLAND — A resident of the 8400 block of Ridge Road told Niagara County Sheriff's deputies that sometime between 9:30 p.m. Thursday and 2:30 a.m. Friday, an unknown person stole several items from her garage.
The woman told patrol that the suspect entered the detached garage by cutting the padlock off the northeast door. She said she heard a loud truck in her driveway but by the time she was able to get out of bed, the truck was heard driving away. She said she found a New York State "No Parking Anytime" in her backyard near her bedroom window.
Patrol did check the area and did not locate any physical evidence left behind at the scene. Patrol also made notification to have the sign picked up on Monday morning.
