OLCOTT — A 16-year-old and an unnamed juvenile were charged today with a string of burglaries in the Lakeview Village Shoppes complex.
According to Niagara County Sheriff Jim Voutour, Steven P. Hutchison of the Town of Newfane and a juvenile whose details were not provided burglarized multiple businesses between the last week of June and the first week of July of this year.
Hutchison was charged with two counts of third-degree burglary, one count of third-degree attempted burglary, and two counts of petit larceny. He was arraigned in Newfane Town Court and remanded to the Niagara County Jail on $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond. He is set to return to court on Thursday.
The juvenile defendant was charged with four counts of third-degree burglary, one count of third-degree attempted burglary, three counts of petit larceny, one count of grand larceny, and one count of fourth-degree criminal mischief.
NCSO says that there are additional arrests pending in connection to these incidents.
