WHEATFIELD — A 33-year-old Newfane woman was charged over the weekend by New York State Police with unlawful possession of marijuana.
According to NYSP, Suzanne C. Lis was found in possession of seven marijuana cigarettes containing approximately 6 grams of marijuana when she was stopped on Niagara Falls Boulevard for having no front license plate and no brake lights.
Lis was issued an appearance ticket and uniform traffic tickets returnable to the Town of Wheatfield Court on Aug. 18.
